Make sure your Credit file is accurate and up to date

Everybody should check their credit file on a regular basis, at least once every six months. This ensures that the information is accurate and up to date, stopping you from getting rejected when you apply for credit, such as a loan or mortgage.

You should also check that any debts over 6 years old are removed from your credit file.
